Black Box Awarded Place on KCS Procurement Services Group Framework
We are delighted to announce that we have successfully secured a place on the national ‘Supply of Record Information Management Framework’, for KCS Procurement Services Group, having won a position on Lot 2 - Document Scanning & Digital Storage.
The awarding authority - KCS - acting for/on behalf of Kent County Council and the Commercial Services Group (a Public Buying Organisation (PBO), conducted an extensive and thorough 2 stage tender process, before finally awarding places to the highest scoring 9 successful organisations onto the Lot. The aim of the tender exercise, was to “create a national, user friendly, time and cost-effective, multi- supplier Framework Agreement for the supply of Record Information Management.”
All public bodies across the UK will have access to this Framework Agreement, including members, Affiliates and associates of the CBC Group, local government authorities, the police Service, the fire Service, the NHS and NH
S trusts, housing associations, third sector organisations, academic centres (including Academies), free schools, publicly funded organisations and publicly owned private companies.
The lot on which Black Box will be accessible to Clients (Lot 2 - Document Scanning & Digital Storage),
covers the provision and installation of document scanning and digital storage, including but not limited to:
• Backfile conversion
• Day forward scanning
• Inbound mail
• Digital storage
The tender process was incredibly competitive, with many much larger organisations than ourselves battling to secure a place on this nationally accessible procurement mechanism, and our award of such (as well as our high scoring) – is testament to our long established and respected reputation within the industry.
We are very excited to begin working closely with the KCS Procurement Services Group and its members, to provide high quality solutions and value for money proposals for the upcoming framework opportunities
